The Academy team is made up of specialists who study the acoustic, mechanical and structural properties of the musical instrument
The sound of a musical instrument is the result of the sum of several parts. Their combination is not dictated by chance: the modern luthier also makes use of science to achieve particular acoustic as well as aesthetic results. Inside and around the Academy gravitate specialists from various disciplinary sectors, who deal with the study of acoustic and timbral properties, structural characteristics and properties of materials. The results of these studies are presented within the Academy through online seminars and lectures.
